When I started to create this product, I did it for my personal use. Quickly enough I found this product to be indispensable. It has improved the quality of my renders dramatically. What's even more important, this product helps me to work faster. It's easy to use and it is reliable. Now I hope that it will be useful for you.

EF Fast and Easy Eye Reflections for Genesis 9 will allow you to give some additional sparks to the eyes of your character. When the general lighting is good but the eyes look a bit dull, the obvious solution would be to create some additional light source in Daz Studio and point it directly at the eyes. You would need to figure out the right distance, the right angle, the right size, and the right brightness, not to mention the right shape. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it right. Speaking about shapes, usually, you'd have only two choices: circle or square. Besides, the new light will inevitably change the overall lighting on the face and this is not what you might want.

My solution is quite simple. When you use this product, you will add a Geometry Shell to the eyes of your Genesis 9 character. Then by applying the provided materials, you will adjust the position of the eye reflections, their shapes, and brightness. The beauty of this product is that the new artificial reflections will not replace the already existing natural reflections from your scene. They are going just to make a nice addition. It allows the eyes to look natural.

Why limit yourself to square and circular reflections, when you can have a chandelier reflection in the eyes? Or car lights? Or a window? Or even sunrise? Some presets look like the reflections from professional studio equipment: a rectangular softbox, a beauty dish, a big round softbox, or a set of two softboxes. Some reflections have quite abstract shapes. I call them Chain, Shattered Glass...

EF Fast and Easy Eye Reflections for Genesis 9 can be applied very fast and they look good. Just remember that when you are applying materials, you need to have EF Eye Reflections selected BOTH in the Scene and Surface Tabs.

It will work with any Genesis 9 character – male or female, orc or elf – as long as they have Genesis 9 Eyes.
