Wet Bodies

Who's got suggestions, workable materials, etc for the various wet body add-ons? Many of them look great when back-lit, but you throw a little direct light on them and... well... it all goes south.
I'm working with v3Digitimes Drips and Drops and the Wet Body series (I forget who) and they are great... but see the above: direct light is the bane of their existence. There's a mind-boggling number of options for Drips and Drops and I haven't yet chanced upon something workable.

I own most of the geoshell products and oddly the ones I like best came with this hair https://www.daz3d.com/short-wet-hair-for-genesis-8-male-s-and-female-s
Everyone likes different things but these look the most Drippy to me.
I'll second those, or Long Wet Hair, or Car Girl Outfits, all from the same vendor. They might be the same geoshells, I haven't checked, but they all look quite good.
anyone used the Gens options with Short Wet Hair? Not sure how these are supposed to work...and they don't seem to.
It doesn't technically work, but if you load the geoshell after loading the gens onto the figure then copy and paste the torso surface to the gens surface on the geoshell, it will match well enough. Long Wet Hair has this already set up, with presets for the gens.
Kinda take that back. I don't know how I missed it, but the regular Genesis 8 Male one seems to have the genitals. Not sure what the xtra ones are for or are supposed to do.
Personally, for an overall wet look without the 'geoshell of drips' I like Maxx HD for The Brute 8 (add the specularity to make the effect better) from RawArt I think is the PA. That product handles direct light well. Now once you add the water drops unfortunately I fell that have too many 'individual droplets that are too large' and not enough sparser number of smaller droplets of rivulets of water to give a more natural wet look. There are several products to choose from but for the drops I have used the same Short Wet Hair mentioned above and it's pretty good, but as I've already said I feel I get more realistic a wet skin omitting the excessive water drops that don't seem to be shaped or distributed quite right.
