OH, OK! You are working on this. I just sent you a PM to see if you were going to do it. Terrific. I'm looking forward to it. Also, a transfer of clothing and hair to G9 would be great, as other products.
Also, just a thought, if the G9 poses do turn out to have some worderful poses, would it be possible to do a G9 to the other sets of characters, as G8.1, G8, G3, G2, G, and generation 4 (V4-M4)? Or, would that just be too much work and trouble?
I plan to someday do the G9 to other generations. However, there are just not enough pose products to justify that work right now. Maybe next year.
I was so excited to see this and slapped it into my cart right away. And wouldn't you know the past two days I have avoided spending money because I was saving credit for it, so I lost my built-up punches. But I appreciate the discount for owning the other bundles. Thank you RiverSoftArt for taking care of us.
Aniblocks are mentioned but what about animated poses
I am particularly interested in ones for Generation 4 which includes all the CGspeed mocaps etc
(and of course any BVH imports on V4 and M4 which actually work)
Genesis 9 animation might actually get me to step on that train (spent $0 on it so far)
I don't know what you mean. This video discusses using Bone Minion with Aniblocks:
Basically, you are applying the aniblock to the bone minion. By scrubbing through every frame, the conversion is transferred to the parent figure and you get the whole aniblock converted. Could you do the same for "animated poses"?

well you did actually answer my question
it works with animated poses because that is in fact what you used not an AniBlock
AniBlocks are Nonlinear Animations without keyframes that have to be baked to the timeline to become animated poses so I suspect it does not in fact work with AniBlocks per se

The terminology can get confusing. It works the same way with Aniblocks. For example, you can apply M4 Aniblocks to the M4 Bone Minion, Bake to the timeline and then scrub through the timeline frame by frame. The Aniblock animation will be transferred to the parent figure.
can one then save the pose/ poses on the G9 figure or do you need to use the Bone Minion everytime as that will obviously add to animated render times too if it can even keep up

You can save the poses on G9 like any other poses. It is outside the scope of Bone Minion as the whole point is to not need new presets though.
Now, this first issue may not be due to your product, but sometimes with G9s, when I want to zero out the pose, and I select the figure in the Scene Tab, and from the Parameters pull-down, I choose "Zero Figure," the character ends up with the arms posed incorrectly. Is this a problem with the zeroing function for G9s? See the screen shot.
Also, when working with G9s, I often use wrestling poses. Sometimes, with the Bone Minion used to apply poses, the two characters do not meet. Sometimes, one is transitioned higher than he should be. The Y transition has to be adjusted. At other times, one character is in the air, off the floor, and his legs are placed at odd angles. The other character seem OK in this second case.
I have a screen shot, but this is actually one of the better pose results. Still, you can see that the arms are not positioned correctly. If it can't be any futher corrected with your product, it still saves time. So, I'm not trying to state a big complaint. Yet, it seems to me that this doesn't happen with transferring poses, using Bone Minion, from say G3 to G8. So, I just thought I'd make you aware of this.
I should also note that I'm on a Macintosh, using OS 12.6.1, and DAZ Studio 4.21.0.5. Please see the screen shot.
I've gotten that hinky arms on G9 after zeroing the pose ,I then go into parameters and zero the arms the rest of the way ........I personally think it's something to do with G9's rigging .......but what do I know ?
OK, well, there's something I could do: Parmeters and Zero the arms. How about duo poses not matching up, as in romantic or wrestling poses? For the second screen shot, it would not be apparant that the poses are so far off if each were presented as a single pose. But, as this is a wrestling hold, the lighter guy should be grabbing the other guy's arms.
