Does NVME have any effect on DAZ3d?

I've been reading this forum about NVME. Especially regarding loading time.

Ok, less morphs, faster loading.

But my question is, does NVME has any effect?
It seems there are randoms answer about this.

Or does it have any effect on any of DAZ3d processes at all?

Very little, that is why many prefer using large external USB drives for storing their Content Library

  • The big drag is processing the morphs after loading, especially checking for and setting up links to other properties. The current Public Build is showing the fruits of a lot of work on the intertnal stages, and for many of us does seem to be showing a marked gain in speed.

What do you mean by this? The current public build version is... faster?
