M3D Horns and Orc Piercings deform the fingernails

I just bought M3D Horns and Orc Piercings, and after dialing in some of the morphs, I noticed that they were distorting the fingernails, cumulatively so, i.e. the more different morphs I dial in the more distorted they become. I'll be filing a ticket about this, but in the meantime I'm hoping there's a solution. I've read on the forums about excluding certain points/polygons from an existing morph, but I haven't been able to find instructions for that process and couldn't figure it out on my own. Does anyone else have these products, and do you experience the same issue? Is there anything I can do short of simply filing a ticket?

Yes, I could reproduce the issue, especially with morphs from M3D Horns (M3DH...) Below is the usual steps that we fix such an issue if the morphs are non-HD ones:
- Load a G9 Dev Load. Filter by M3DH...in Parameters pane. Turn on Edit mode. Then you need to fix the morphs by dialing and Favorite them one by one !! For instance, M3DH Cheeks Horns, dial it to 100% and Favorite it. Activate Geometry Editor, switch to Vertex mode in Tool Settings and check
Symmetry option on X Axis. (ss1)
- Right-click on M3DH Cheeks Horns, Select Morph Vertices. You'll find a totally wrong result, i.e. the morph influences the whole body gemetry as well as irrelevant area on the head. (ss2)
- Ctrl + Z then Ctrl + 8. Switch to Polygon mode in Tool Settings. Carefully just select the cheek horn area on one side of the face with Ctrl + Drag Selection. Then right-click in Viewport: ... Convert to Vertex Selection (ss3)
- Ctrl + / to Invert Selection ! Right-click in Viewport: ... Clear Selected Deltas from Favorites. (ss4). Then save the Modified asset.
However, unfortunately, these problematic morphs are HD morphs (with supportive DHDM files)... only the vendor can fix them. Users can just fix Base mesh (If you set G9's Resolution Level to Base, you'll see the distortion is already gone ~~)
Thanks for the walkthrough. At least now it will be easier for me to find, since it's in one of my threads.
No problem !
