I got "Michael 4 UV Mapping for Genesis 2" and my intention was to appy some of my old Michael 4 textures to Genesis 2...but I can not figure out how to do this.
Three files was installed. One of them i under Materials called "Set Michael 4 UV". When I have Gensis 2 loaded I try to click on "Set Michael 4 UV" and I would expect, that I could now just click on some Michael 4 texture to fit on Genesis...but nothing seems to happen.
Anyone tried "Michael 4 UV Mapping for Genesis 2" and know how to work this in Poser

I don't have that one ... Readme is here: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/17664/start and down there is a pdf link
I believe that applying a poser material file to genesis 2 will not work because of the internal mapping. You will need save those files in duf format, then make a companion file for that. There is a utility from Draagonstorm that reads the poser files and applies it to Genesis 2 (but only works in DS), or you will need to apply the material file to genesis 1 in DS, then save the duf file.. then make the companion file for that. If you do it in poser, you would have to manually apply the materials or maybe there's a script that will copy material zones from M4 to Genesis.
You don't have to make Companion files - there is D3D's free DSON loader: http://d3d.sesseler.de/index.php?software=poserpython&product=dson_loader
I rather tell people how to do it properly. Using this won't have any Poser material settings. You can edit the companion file to hold those settings.
If you already have the UV's installed, you can use this to set the UV within Poser.

Better just to run Snarly's EZSkin 2 or 3 after loading the textures...
Perhaps, but still people need to know how to do it properly in case of issues. Also EZSkin settings do need be adjusted as the SSS applied is way too high making figures look like bad wax.
