The tuxedo for G2M is great and has a really good bow tie. Reccommended. However for a challenge, after seeing this idea, I decided to see if I could make a good one myself.  

This is what I came up with, sized for the tuxedo shirt.  It has a UV Map so you can make it plaid or whatever you like. I uploaded the OBJ file to ShareCG here (tux not inclded!):

Autofit kills the tuxedo tie for gen 3 male. Would love one with an improved fit.

Well below I use it just parented to G3M lower neck, after some scaling and moving around. Follows pretty poses pretty well.  I did get the band to fit under the collar but ultimately just used the geometry tool to make it invisible so no risk of poke through.  I probably should have had that as a seperate material zone in the first place.

Oh I meant the tie that came with tuxedo for gen 2. I will certainly try your version!
