First render - more to come I hope

I have steadily collected assets for Daz Studio for a while, but I have not done much with them aside from playing around with them in the app. I finally decided to try my hand at putting scenes together and doing renders. I'm still in the learning phase on a lot of this, but I hope to get better, faster, and be able to share more in the future.
BTW, does anyone know how to change one's forum name? I'm certain I didn't pick the random list of characters it has for my name.

That came out really good! It's really dark and creepy - you created a great mood piece. I like the ghost in the window - so creepy. Congratulations on your first render. Well done!
Great expression on her face! And we are all still learning. I don't think any of us who love to do this ever stop learning. And there is a LOT to learn lol. The forums are a great place to pick up a lot what you need to know so don't hesitate to ask. And come over and joint the newbie contests, its a fantastic way to learn a lot in a very short period of time.
That's looking good. Well done.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Worked on another this weekend.
Very nicely done and I also love your first render and I agree with Ice Dragon Art you should skip over to the Newbie Challenge HERE they have a wealth of information on doing touch ups in photoshop or gimp or what ever postwork program you have if it is needed.
Thanks! I'll check out what's happening in the Newbie Challenge section. I'm having so much fun with this. I can hardly pull myself away from the computer to eat and sleep. :-)
I've been focusing more on serene images the last couple weeks. I decided on a quiet weekend at the lake house for my latest render.
Wow amazing render here, only thing I have to say is why not put some sunlight through the window making the peeps cast some soft shadows.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll give that a try. I'm still struggling a bit with lighting but that sounds like a fun experiment.
Have you gave any thought to us suggesting you join the newbie contest??
You could learn so much there with photoshop or daz itself etc.....
I looked around in there today, and there does seem to be a great deal of useful information. I'll probably try it out next month. Since it's nearly the end of the month, I likely will not have time to put something together before August is over.
Yeah tat is true, I will be looing for you over there next month then
Fabulous scene creation/renders
Thank you!
