I checked, no the new version has not yet been uploaded but it should be in the next day or two.

    Disappointing, but thanks.

By "day or two" do you mean by close-of-business DAZ-time Friday? This is one of the qualifying items for the 5/31/2012 PlatClub Inspirations Contest which closes at midnight DAZ-time Saturday, so there's a bit of a time-crunch.

I should think so, but it was not a precise promise since the person doing QA had been away and therefore had some catching up to do, even though the product update was ready in itself.

I know your doing your part keeping us informed. But as the first version went through QA obviously they aint doing thier job, day by day I feel totally let down with Daz no official responces to questions all over the forum ect. I know they are busy but its impossible for everyone in the office to be working on the website at the same time.

Sorry but had to show my disapointment.

    Sal.

PC has one QA person, as far as I know, who was essentially on holiday but took the time to look at the suit issues. However, not having access to the home system it wasn't possible to update the files immediately.

    Haven't installed it yet, though

I downloaded V1.1 and installed it this morning. Unfortunately, the new version acts exactly like the original. I went in and completely removed the first version to make sure there wasn't an issue with old files. The interesting thing is that I went back to review the data files after the install and the folders show to be new but belt files are all showing dates of 5/31.

Please tell me this is just a packaging error (grabbed the wrong directory) and not a case of someone saying they did their job when they didn't.

Is any one else having an issue downloading the "Boots and Belt for SuperSuit"?

It brings to to a different page that says: "Sorry, there was an error getting requested content. Please contact store owner." Download is currently unavailable.

I know we are waiting on an update on these files so they could be changing them over.

But I have flagged the issue

I have reset my downloads and installed ver 1.1 and yes it is better but dont get too exited... the Depth segments morphs work great, But if you use the flaps morphs or the buckle morphs the original problem returns.

I can make another video showing this but I think if they apply them as I said they will see the issues.

    Sal.

I thought I would upload a video showing the problem is partly sorted.

I'm at a dead stand still in my character designs without a working belt. I don't do many caped characters but a seperate belt is needed for many of my designs. If I could figure out the rigid settings for the Supersuit and set just parts of it rigid I could fake some designs.

Well at least the mac installer works now... the morphs still deform the belt though :(

I've half a mind to take the blooming thing into hexagon and redo the morphs myself....

I am waiting on the installer to propagate over with the new fixes. I have thoroughly tested the belt in 4.5 and in 4.0.3.36 to make sure that it works in older versions as well as newer. As soon as the update goes through I will let you know so you can re download.

From what I have read in the PC forum and here we will have a 100% funtioning belt as soon as the new update is ready. This time it was tested in both versions of DS, in Pro and 4.5. It sounds like we will be pleased.

Yep, but check JGreenlees's post at the top of this page -- it's done! It's ready! And yesterday (over 24 hours ago now) it was uploaded to the site. JGreenlees said that when it had propagated properly and we could be sure that resetting our download would get us the freshly updated file instead of one of the previous versions, he'd post to let us know. But that (also over 24 hours ago now) was his last post. :-/

We need to wait for DAZ to package the new version. I'm in the boat with you and waiting is all we can do at this time. At least they have listened to us and done extra work so we customers would be happy. I think JGreenlee's is wonderfull for going to the trouble. We could have been told the item was only for DS4.5 and no update was coming.

Not the point -- according to what JGreenlees's posted the final-fixed version is already packaged. And (IIUC) already uploaded. JGreenlees was going to post here to confirm that the upload was properly available for us to reset and download, but he hasn't yet -- why not? Did he just forget, leaving those of us unwilling to burn file-resets out in the cold? Or is there a problem and the final-fixed version can't be downloaded yet? Which?

The fixed version is now up and able to be downloaded. When you reset your downloads you should now get 14063_BootsBeltSupersuit_V1.2_trx.exe

Thank you for your patience :)

It took a bit for the file to get onto the server but it is there now..

    And JGreenlees is female ;)

Reset my download, it took me right to the downloads page with the files there, clicked on the file to download it, and it told me that the file was not available.

Thank You so much for your work. And for the trouble you have gone too to let us know about the fix JGreenLees. I will test this soon.

Can you try resetting it you should get version 1.2 of the file when you do and it should download. If not let me know and I will look into it.
