    Hmm.  A lot of the stuff I do is creating characters, and they don't tend to get clothed until they're nearly done so... here's a random test of a set I did for some reason... poser materials to 3DL, IIRC.

    Damn, the face on that model totally blew me away.   She doesn't look perfect like the typical Daz model making her look extremely realistic  and incredibly sexy.

    Ah, well, I had decided that I hadn't rendered any food and I was doing research on a topic on YouTube so I did a quick render of dessert tonight.  At least, this way there are fewer calories.

    Thanks, guys!  Food is one of those things that I haven't really added to scenes yet.  It is so hard to get the textures of some foods to look right.  The dessert was pretty easy because it comes with some awesome textures all ready for Iray.  The hard part was getting just the right lighting to enhance the chocolate and the oranges.  The cake came from Sweet Temptations by esha.  It's a great product.  I have some older food items I will be trying out in the next few weeks that don't have Iray textures.  It will be interesting to see what I can do with those.  I'm a the point now in my big diner scene that I've been working on forever that I actually need to put some food on the tables.  Now that I'm closer to finishing that project, I'll be posting some preliminary renders of that in my thread soon which will include more food renders.  Don't come over hungry?

    Funny thing I the person I really made it for  (basides my s7) won't even talk to me to tell me to p*** off. It's ok, I've come to terms that I'm unworthy except as a professional stalker.

    LOL!  Yeah, I had serious cravings after doing this for the real thing.  Luckily, I was able to resist the temptation!  :)

    You are certainly braver than me!  I've made one of my sons, but no way I'd want to see myself digitially!  You did a great job, though, on building your figure.

    Thanks for the positive feedback! Also made this, playing around with lighting and render settings. I've started keeping a blog of my progress with learning DAZ. Not sure if sharing the URL is good form or not, though.

    You can share outgoing links all you like as long as its not to another DAZ product selling place.
