Glowing skin?

No, this isn't an advertisement for a cosmetic product!
I've set up a render, and using the default light, it's ok, but I wanted more dramitic lighting, however whenever I do it, the character's skin glows orange. What do I need to alter to prevent this?

    Poser or DAZ Studio? The usualy cause is the ambient colour/strength - people use that to fake sub-surface scattering, but it is a problem in low-light renders.

    I'm using DAZ. Messed around with the ambient setting like you said, that seemed to do the trick.
