    Does this mean only those 4 figures can be used or are those just examples?

    I haven't had time to go through the whole thread, but love the renders so far!

    It means that all gen 4 characters can be used but not claimed as free or paid. The ++morphs, however, are to be paid fors. Also any third party character you got for free can be used as long as you provide a working link for them.

    Nice entry GG, you still qualify but you have some bad links here. The rainbow sky backgrounds and the Quetzal Piersings are from Runtime DNA. The page loads, but the download links are dead. This may be a registration required thing though. The soul patch for M4 is a dead link and the Lindsey for M4 is also a dead link. Like I said, you still are within the ten freebies and you do have the trumarcar freebie required, so you are good to go. If you could fix the broken links that would be good also, if not just delete them.

    I get the download button to the upper right for the Quetzal piercings at RDNA. I clicked it and it initiated the download.
    Same goes for the rainbow sky background.

    For the Soul Patch, the error is in the beginning of the link:

    it has most . digital - creations
    it should be most - digital - creations

    (I put spaces between in order to draw attention to the error, there should be no spaces, of course)

    So it should be http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_45.htm

    I just noticed something...I pasted the link for the Soul Patch directly, I did not type it out. But somehow the first dash is looking like a dot! :-/


    Chohole, could you bring this to someone's attention, please? It seems that the forum is taking liberties with our text and changing things as it pleases. >:( The link I pasted does work, however. How odd. Maybe it's a one-off type of weirdness. But it would be nice if there could be some kind of explanation. I've never seen this happen before. I'm wondering if there is a character set issue? (sometimes called a codepage in the operating system)

    Oy! I knew this was gonna happen...(I believe I said it would.) By this ruling, pretty much everything that comes with DS4 is counted as a "paid for". Then there's the Optitex stuff -- DS only, Poser Dynamics Freebies -- Hair and Cloth. Little of the default Bryce content will work outside of Bryce.


    EDIT: As a data point... as of less than 5 minutes ago the Subdragon from DS4 loads just fine into DS3.1. See attached image.

    Why? Did they make it a Genesis shape? If it's the same product, just packaged with the new Studio, I don't see why it wouldn't work in DS3? It seems odd to think that. Unless, like I asked, if they made it into a Genesis shape.

    I'll be donating this dial spun character morph as a prize to the contest entrants. People seemed to comment on it positively when originally shown a couple months back so I figured I'd share. Gonna make a few small tweaks to it plus, since it's a Genesis morph, I'm going to attempt to make metadata for it by the end of the month so it shows up in Smart Content.

    Well too bad you can't see me right now, This weekend was the dragon boat races again (my daughter and her husband have been doing it for about 12 years now), yesterday was typical Oregon weather, rain and clouds, but today was gorgeous... 75 but felt like 80 and sun sun sun... my face looks like a raccoon, My sunglasses left my eyes white and the rest of my face is beet red. Should of used the sunscreen on myself too not just the grandson. OUCH!!! it hurts right now.

    She's nice, a good ethnic character! Unlike the many cookie-cutter Barbie dolls. After a while they all start looking the same. Is it for Genesis base, or is V4 required?

    He (she?) did say that it's a Genesis morph, so I'd guess no...no Poser. But I could be wrong, I don't understand all these new Genesis thingies.

    Wow, I can't believe what is really causing the problem. See the two url's below, the first is the bad one, the second the working one. It's the file extension! html is not the same as htm. :shut:

    The SubDragon that comes with DS4 is the standard, Poser-format SubDragon LE, and works in Poser or DS3.
