halo to all members,

First I loaded Supersuit then In Menue Found the Supersuit 2 Cloths.

Genesis:Dynamic Clothes:Supersuit: (2) Known as : Clothes:Supersuit:2_Cosmic Gods

at first I could not get the Gold, or Silver Shaders to work. everything looks White, with lines ( posted Image )

Found out afterwards , like with other Products "The Render Does It "

For a newbi like me!!! there is a lot to learn about the Dynamic Cloths, ie, some colures Work, like brown ect red,

I was going to post to say id does not work!. just thought i would post this, because it's something I found out.
given time, it is possible to learn anything it just takes time.

maybe help someone

Mal

    hi to everyone again,

i few things, i wanted to ask, about puppeteer,
using it, can i save the animation, and play it back?
    using the record function?
the other question, is about cloths,
can i make or modify the body of the character mesh shape in hexaglot?
and will the cloths fit on the new vertisis ?
it's something i would like to try
and last question, i have the basic , but not animate 2,
will i be able to make a simple rendered animation with it?
will it flow like they show in the demo video

Pupeteer, yes you can record and play back.

If you send Genesis to Hexagon, then create a morph, the clothing should still fit Genesis with the morph applied.

You cannot create your own aniblocks with the Lite version, but you should be able to create an animation.

First of all, the red balls are shaping handles to help you to pose the dress. Look in the Surfaces pane for them, and turn the Opacity slider down to 0% and they will go away.

The only way to get shoes for V3 to fit Genesis that I know of, is to buy the V3 Iconic Shapes for Genesis from the store. This will add the V3 shape to the Autofit plugin. Generation 3 shoes generally fit a bit better to Genesis than the Gen 4 ones using Autofit.

There is a 14 minute video here on YouTube. I don't know if it mentions how to do stars or not.

Yes it's for the Genesis figure.. the cloths from V3 also are really nice, but i think, i'm getting the same problem with the cloths.

thanks for the Tips and the Link to the Video.. i will have a look at the V3 Iconic Shapes for Genesis i think, maybe buy it..
i'm thinking of buying zbrush also . for making cloths.. perhaps this is a good idea?
but i think again, with it, i need a few add ons to make it do that.

You appear to have 3 surfaces selected there.

The one you waant is 'Body Handle', just select it on it's own and turn down the Opacity slider.

It says 'you have chosen to fit an Unsupported item.....'

You must click on the part where is says 'Unsupported', and choose the character the boots were originally made for.

You are still not choosing the item type, it is also a drop dwon list. Select 'Boots' from that list.

Footwear does not always fit perfectly using Autofit, and you may have some work to do.

thank you for taking the time to write to me, yes i did try the boots from the drop-down list.
i got the "Gen 3 Iconic Shapes for Genesis" it does work with the cloths mostly ok without too much fiddling with it
and looks quite good. excellent on some items,

but Autofit Does Not Work on Boots. i did that right at the biginning before i asked anyone how to do it.

at least i can't make it work. Autofit tool works amazingly on some things and its quite briliant on cloths items.
but feet seems to pose a problem for Autofit tool.

so i thought i would post this picture to show i selected the menue Boots
i have seen a video tutorial on making boots fit. when there not supported.

the boots partly cover the feet, i have tried positioning the feet first, but that does not work
the only way i can see at the moment is to manually correct the shape and positioning first.
then parent it to genisis figure after , and after that try appy smoothing modifier. but there is a lot more tools in Daz i don't know about and a lot more to learn
    best wishes
