hahah I know what you mean. Though I think the only actual "weekly" freebie is the one you get when you're a PC+ member, which you can find here under "weekly freebies". Though this month because of the PC+ sale they aren't listing them there, they are just releasing them on the main sales page.
I think they do change bi-weekly, but it is mostly rotating the same stuff, so every couple of weeks 2-3 will change, but only to something that was already given away a couple of months back. As a result anyone that has grabbed stuff from there for 3 months or more will frequently be under the impression that it does not change, simply because the "new" freebies they already own, and so do not show up in the list.
This week I did pick up two hair color colors for hairs I don't own in the freebie section.
I never know what to do with texture sets without the props though. I usually purchase them but hide the installers.
Yeah, sadly my runtime has a ton of textures for items I don't own and probably never will own. I need to stop downloading those things, they are taking up valuable hard drive space.
Yes same here like texture for outfits I do not own or may never own lolz cause I have so many outfits from wilmap!!!! Kinda hooked on her clothing for the moment because they are such excellent clothing and you can do so much with them!!!
and the hair textures will probly never use because I will probly not have the hair to match :D
So I am thinking I am going to uninstall the ones I have already d/l and hide the d/l to new ones.
Someone do a list of G2F freebiees that don't suck.
Basically all of Wilmap's clothes are awesome. And the wiki has quite a few good G2F freebies.
ShareCG also has a great collection. By far, G2F has the widest selection of quality morphs and clothes that are free. You can really do a lot without ever making a purchase if you limit yourself to Gen2 freebies.

Doesn't appear to require anything other than Iray. It's a collection of mesh lights and HDR images.
I'm finding Stonemason's After the War is free for one day only. It works.
I can't get the RDNA 2 days only item called Beautiful Monsters: LucreZia VFour Poser and DS to work. Or, rather, can't get the "HOLLIDAZ' gift code to work. I've tried in both all upper and all lower case, in both the Coupon Code and Gift Certificate Code fields, with nothing but the RDNA item in the cart. Get the same "Code is not valid" message, no matter what.
Anyone--especially anyone from DAZ--know what gives?
Thanks--
X. n
I'm not sure she's on the list of items available for free with the HOLLIDAZ coupon: http://www.daz3d.com/featured-runtime-dna-free-selection
Well, yes, of course there could be that. <blushing> (No, really: I was certain I'd checked that out. Apparently not....)
Sorry for the false alarm.
X.
I think all the "Render Studio" stuff is Poser only. I think they are file types that aren't supported by Daz Studio.
First I want to say thanks for great freebies, specialy http://www.daz3d.com/da-let-it-snow which was in my wishlist for some time. One more thing that I have noticed is that freebie that was available before few days, Leotard for G3f is gone (its promo page actualy), I am not sure if this is as it should be. Also I noticed that Crusader (by Mortem Vetus) is missing from the store, I think it was there before.
That is about it for now. As I have already said in this thread http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/16978/an-attempt-of-a-limited-time-freebie-message-only-email-alert-thread#latest I got from RDNA some nice things but they work in Poser only and I hoped that they might work at least partialy in DS, but I made a mistake, and I guess I should have asked first here like Overdrawn did. After that I was thinking how it might be good to know in promo page if content works at least partialy in DS or not but I think I better ask next time :).
They are for the Poser Firefly renderer only. (I think Poser 8 and up)
Colm Jackson did a new version of his Render Studio for Iray that is currently for sale:

About the current "pick your freebie" thing... I'm still deciding which one to choose from today...
Does this one fit to V4? How do I fit it to V4? http://www.daz3d.com/sugar-for-a3-outfit-bundle
Does this one work on DazStudio? http://www.daz3d.com/technophilia-volume-1-techno-tentacles
Please help me guys~ <3
Sugar is for Aiko3 specificly There was a version for V4
You may have to adjust the materials but the figure should work
http://www.daz3d.com/sugar-for-a3-outfit-bundle is for Aiko 3. Theer are tools for converting from Aiko 3 to Victoria 4, and Classic shape for getting Aiko 3 items to AutoFit to Genesis 1, but it will not work on other figures without conversion.
http://www.daz3d.com/technophilia-volume-1-techno-tentacles looks to be a fairly standard Poser figure and should probably work in DS, but the mt5 files won't and the other materials will need adjustment.
You can't fit a3 directly to V4. You'll need a clothing converter of some sort. Alternatively, you can use Iconic Shapes for Genesis to get your A3 clothing autofits :)
You could use Clothes Converter or Cross Dresser. However there is one for V4 and with the current RDNA sales it may be as cheap as the A3 one, depending on your Holiday reward:
http://www.daz3d.com/sugar-for-v4-bundle
Alternatively, there's also one for Star! that I completely forgot I owned... I found that one to be more versatile since I have a Star! 2.0 to G3F autofit.
what are mt5 files for?
@RobertFreise @mtl1 @CharlieJudge thank you guys! I'm gonna look for those products! I did find the V4 version Robert mentioned :) also want to check the autofit options from the other products, thank you!
I'm still not sure if i go with the techphillia http://www.daz3d.com/technophilia-volume-1-techno-tentacles
or this beautiful skin for V4 http://www.daz3d.com/vanilla-sky-v-four
Poser 5 (and up I think)
They are like Shader Presets in Daz Studio - they apply material settings to a selected surface. DS doesn't know how to do that with a Poser file, so to use them at all you would have to copy the settings into an item-oriented file (mc6, or pz2 mat file) with correctly named surfaces. Whether even that would be useful would depend on whether the basic materials (diffuse/specular/bump) did enough on their own or whether the shader tree set-up, which DS skips, was vital to the look.
I usually go into the files that say mt5 and manually change the mt5 to mc6. Then they usually work just fine. Its a long boring process but it works. I think there may be a tool out there that does it in batched but I'm not sure and I don't have it if there is.
oh i get it... hopefully i will get poser too one day :) (i'm turning into quite a 3d collector :O)
oh manually! that's pretty nice to learn! whenever i need it i'm gonna do that :) thank you for the tip!
