Convert poses from one character to another?

Over the years, I have created hundreds of battle poses for David, but since there haven't been any new accessories for that character in years, I guess I should move on to newer, better supported characters, like Michael 4. The problem is, I would hate to lose all my poses. It took me many, many hours to make them. Is there a way to convert poses that were originally made for one character, so that you can load them onto another character?

There's probably a better/faster way...

Just load them on the desired figure and see how they look. Many will at least need some tweaking.
