Manami for V4: problem with textures.

I had this problem several times.
Load V4 and aplly the Minami head and body morphs, then go for the textures and the fgure turn blank like in the attachet image.
The product description says it is necessary "Elite Human Surface Shader", I have applied it to V4 and still does not work ...
is curiso because I have Daz version 3.1 and this product should be compatible ... What is wrong?

it looks as if you are applying files from the Poser content library - if you right-click on one of those files and select browse to location are there any DAZ Studio preset files (.ds, .dsa, .dsb or .dse) in the folder?

Yes, the files are DS format.
That happens sometimes just with some V4 characters...

The poser folder in this one does have .dsa files. (the little notch in upper left corner of icon is hint).
The question is, have you installed the Human Surface Shader (HSS) which is necessary for this to work?

yes and apply to the figure

I'd missed the scrolls on the mat files, just noticed there weren't any on the earlier files. They are .dsa so there shouldn't be any problem with their being tagged as a later version. Please check the end of your log (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log) juts after applying a preset, to see if there are any error messages, and post a screenshot of the Surfaces pane for one of the materials - say SkinFace.

You shouldn't, in general, need to apply the shader - the .dsa files will do that for you (if they are working in your version of DS).

The material file has a reference to the HSS. You shouldn't need to apply it separately.
Check your log file and see what happens after you apply the texture dsa

Not sure what you asked, sorry my bad english. Anyway here are screenshots of Surfaces and seems that there is no texture (?) Also attached the log file .... there seems to be a lot of fails!

Your Surface tab is showing "Shader: Custom", that means you don't have the required shader installed, if you had HSS installed then it would say "Shader: omHumanSurface", so either you don't have the shader or your using an older version (or newer version) that isn't compatible with your version of DS3.1.

Curious. None of this is clearly explained in the product description (both Manami as shaders). Money thrown away.
    Thanks for the answers anyway.

Your problem is that your installation is not configured correctly.

I use Manami quite often, both in DS 4.5.1.6 and PoserPro 2012, on Genesis and V4

I went back to check old copy of DS 3.1.2.32 and it works fine there also.

The files are self-running so you can´t do wrong in the installation... That must be a compatibility problem with my version of Daz and Manami textures. I have others XP characters and work well, except Manami and Sayaka.
I have also used Eliste Human Surface Shader in other characters and works well.
