Happy (approaching) Halloween everybody! Wasn't really sure where to put this render, it isn't really gallery worthy, but I wanted to share the humor, so I'll just use it to start a "happy Halloween" thread. Feel free to post any other silly halloween artwork here, or not, as desired. But please, for the love of god, keep those imps out of the candy!

Happy Halloween @sriesch What a fun looking Halloween Render!!!
I am just hanging around waiting for my bus to hell
Don't be discouraged friend, any rendered image is worthy of galleries. Great job on creating
Happy Halloween! :D
Happy Halloween!
Nice!
I wanted to find a contest to use this in, but didn't...shame, as it is, without a doubt, THE SCARIEST, MOST HORRIFYING DAZ STUDIO PICTURE OF ALL TIME!!!!
SCAVENGER GRAPHICS NIGHTMARISHLY PRESENTS:
CHECKING THE ALL NIGHT RENDER!!!
It is that time of year again, when the veil between the worlds is at it's thinnest.
Would you dare to cross to the other side?
Happy Halloween everybody! : )
Rendered in Daz Studio 4.9 with Iray, no post-work.
Great images everyone!
Also known as The blue-screen of death.
Happy Halloween
That was me, the past two and a half weeks. Some days, six times a day.
My old computer used to do that all the time... my renders were very simple, one character no light, and a 3/4 view because I couldn't add pants before DAZ crashed, multiple times per render. That's when it was behaving itself. The blue screens of death kept becoming more and more numerous, until one day my PC wouldn't turn on anymore.
RIP old PC...
So, without remorse for my 7 year old dead PC, I happily went out to get another one and have been having fun with Daz Studio ever since.
I have two Halloween renders:
"Cast Down"
And one for the kids: "Dividing Candy"
Skully hasn't been able to trick or treat since the prank with Wolfie and Drac went terribly wrong. So Mummy makes sure that Skully gets a share. Drac and Wolfie will be out all night again.
Those are neat Dracorn! Don't know which is my fav, like them both
Thanks Novica . I'm starting to really get into the postwork. I'm still no expert at Photoshop but I'm learning.
I went the opposite. I used to do a lot of postwork on my renders. Now with better apps and better render engines that can handle complex shaders. I found myself doing more prework (hacking shaders) than postwork.
I'm starting to do that as well. I work in 3Delight and have been playing around with AoA's Surface Shader to optimize my characters, plus Lumina Materials Library. Both of these require additional adjustments. I have built the confidence needed to not worry if something says Poser Only - with the exception of items rigged in the cloth room. That's one of my next projects - to understand rigging, and experiment with re-rigging some Poser items for D/S.
