Where on my computer is this picture kept?

When the program launches, what does the bit about the user info overwriting the product info mean?

thank you.

What do you mean? The Boot Image is not loaded but Hard coded into the Program. It's part of the program.

That would explain why I couldn't find it. Thanks.

Do you know what that choice is that is presented about user info overwriting product data when importing metadata?

I'm afraid not, never seen nor heard of that before. Have you made any MetaData files of your own for items? Or maybe Signed your Authorship on all installed content?

This is presented for the purchased metadata: [default settings]

OH!! If you EDIT an Items MetaData file so it loads in the sections you wish instead of the default sections your File will not be removed. It will overwrite the UPdated file you might install when get the newest version released. That is so it will still be found in the place YOU put it and not the place the creator put it at design time.

    Okay. So right now that's a non-issue.

Good news. I found a way I can still put my little morphs where I want them :-)
And I filled in a form somewhere so now the program auto-inputs my name to those creation files so I [hopefully] won't lose any more.

Bad news is this seems so far to be more "clumsy/cumbersome" in responding on this laptop than 4.0 was. Took several tries to get it to save a Render too. While the shown info appeared correct; apparently it was trying to save them into the Program folder and it can't do that and ? why it would have defaulted to that. Anyhow, i set up new Render folders for it. It saved but said it didn't. So I made it a folder just like it was wanting in the program folder, except it's in the the proper Daz 3d folder for contents under Documents ... and now it's happy.

So now I would like a free Genesis type horse for all the hassle it took to get me thus far. "please"

well, if one doesn't ask, you know ...

    thank you ....

when do you think it'll be safe to tell the folks in the Bryce forum that I bought that 3d stuff for Bryce?
