Ah, I was coming over to discuss this very thing. So, the way the prize was worded for the Carrara render, it was only awarded if a Carrara entry made it into one of the top spots in the contest. Unfortunately, none of the entries which won were made with Carrara. I'm in discussions now as to what we might possibly do with the prize that didn't get awarded. Whatever we do with it, it will stay as a Carrara prize. We have a couple of options we are discussing.
I have to admit to being a little disappointed that none of the winners were made in Carrara. There were some really good entries. Unfortunately, there were a lot of really good entries overall for the entire contest. The competition was extremely fierce.
I will keep everyone updated as to what the final decision is.
As many of the Carrara users may have noticed, none of the winning entries were made in Carrara. When the special prize was added, it was stated that it would go to a Carrara entry if it made it into one of the top spots. There has been a discussion of what to do with the donated prize now that the contest is over and it didn't get won. We had a couple of options to consider. So, here is what we are going to do so that the prize stays as a Carrara prize. I'm pulling all of the Carrara entries and they will be judged and the best Carrara entry will get the unclaimed prize. So, stay tuned and I will let you know who gets to claim the $10 gift certificate.
How about we each only take 25 lashes instead of 30, and Stezza gets the prize? Very kind of you to award any prize at all. The conditions of the prize were stated clearly. Thank you. And thank you to the sponsor (wgdjohn).
OK, I looked at all the entries of this challenge…
It's a beautiful showcase for all the characters with the synthetic aspect of DAZ3D, only some participants go further in their research of the similarity with the real-world, the atmosphere is almost non-existent in these works.
Anyway, each one put all its experiment in its work, and it is the main thing.
Congratulation with all!
I've made the announcement on the It's Raining Men Again entry thread but I thought I'd let you know who the winner of the Carrara prize was. Someone will be PMing the winner within 24 hours with the prize information.
