Well I must admit that I am working on a render but not for this contest ;-) and here in a bit I will be going Christmas shopping. Every year I have what I call a special dinner, break out the fine china, the sliver, the crystal for my immediate family and create a fine dinner. We have the English Crackers (the tubes that go pop when you open them and inside are jokes, a hat and present). Started doing this to teach my son how to conduct himself at a fancy dinner. What fork to use, how to conduct himself during the dinner and so forth. Now it has become a tradition and I can't get out of it. Last year I said no more dinners and I got mobbed. Funny how things work out. It is one evening that probably has more meaning for my husband and son and Mother-in-law when she was alive than the day itself. When family just sits down to a dinner and jokes, eats ymmy food and experiences what Christmas is. So I am on the hunt for some special serving dishes. You know presentation is half the fun!
PS Jeeperz, this contest ends on the 20th so that is why I am not working on one for you yet. :-)
sounds good Dollygirl, I too am doing dinner for 14 again this year, with 8 staying over night Christmas night. You missed the 1-hour mini though...

(There's a professional development course in my field that's only offered once a year. This year, it's being given the week before Christmas, and I finally got a seat at it. So this week I'm finishing off my work for the year, doing my Christmas shopping, and reading through the pre-reading material for the course. Next week is the course, and the week after is Christmas... but - right now - my calendar for Boxing Day is clear. And I do have an idea - anybody know where to find a free reindeer?)

So I went to the mall today to do some Christmas shopping, I have to all the way into Portland to find the closest mall. 4 hours after we were there there has been a shooting.... 2 dead and several injured..... DAMN!!!!!! *kissing the ground in thankfulness* scarey for sure.

well I've made a contest render but I have a question or three, the horse 2 and the redhouse CC come with several items, does that count as 1 item or do I have to count each one? ok well that was my only question lol thanks
Hi! :-) I imagine if it's just Horse 2, not Horse 2 (Pro, Starter, etc.) Bundle, then it's one product. But if it's a bundle, each thing in the bundle that would be a separate product would be counted as a separate item. I don't know what the redhouse CC is.

I think Redhouse CC could be the "Redhouse Christmas Carol" or, possibly, the "Redhouse Christmas Carol Exp 1", depends on what's been used, I suppose.

Is there a doctor anywhere nearby? I'm in the process of reinstalling EVERY SINGLE FLIPPING BIT of 3d content into a new runtime before I wipe the old one. Either I need medication for doing this OR I'll soon need it....because I did this.
I'm doing that too only my runtime stuff won't go into place like it should and I have to do ALL of them by hand. and THAT'S why I still am not doing any renders, except the one in my first post and it consists of mostly DAZ stuff and a few thing I loaded by hand.... what a pain it the patootie
Welcome to the club, Jeeperz. I'm unzipping about 50 files at once into a dummy folder then going through one at a time and moving all the Runtime folders into my library so they merge into that Runtime. Yes, it is a MAJOR pain. I'm wanting to get back into my cg work since I do miss it, but with my kiddo and work, it usually becomes a matter of finding the time. That's why I haven't really been on here since she was born in 2010.
this is the first time I've had to manually put them into the folders, not looking forward to doing the rest either

MENAGE FAMILY ROBINSON
Everyone is familiar with Daniel Defoe's classic tale of Robinson Crusoe, abandoned on a desert island, completely alone until the appearance of a friendly native whom he christened Friday.
This was in fact the cleaned-up version of Defoe's baudy original story, in which the native man was actually a rather fetching native woman called Anyday.
The original might have remained lost to obscurity if American pornographer Larry Flynt hadn't come across it and combined the two versions for the 1979 movie "Robinson Cruise Hole", starring Erma Bombshell as Anyday and a then-unknown Morgan Freeman as Friday.
I'm not sure who played Crusoe, but I remember seeing a film in which Tom Hanks sucks on a coconut on a desert island. (Or was it a volleyball? I was quite high when I saw it.)
This is the controversial Christmas scene in which Anyday shows Robinson how to put his lips together and "blow Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" using nothing but a conch shell.

Here's an updated picture. I used wancow's lights found here: http://www.sharecg.com/v/66225/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Skin-Material-for-Black-and-White-Skin-(DS4.5) and substituted the RDNA skydome with the environment sphere that came with DAZ 4.5. The environment sphere uses the same RDNA texture.
Why am I not seeing avatars or the renders that are posted? I'm not getting any images.

Just a note to all...my browser has been throwing Adobe Flash prompts up everytime I click on something. It is a real headache just to go a few pages. Don't know why it is doing this, wants to open content in unprotected mode, whatever that means. I am going to have to do some repairs to get rid of this thing, so I may not be up in here for a while, especially if my pooter crashes!!!!
