I've been looking at http://www.daz3d.com/shop/genesis-creature-creator-bundle and a couple other things a bit like it, but what I'm really looking for are the materials/textures used in those previews (the red, green and brown stuff). I've seen them used to advertise other products as well, but none seem to have mats or textures listed anywhere in "What's Included & Features."

I don't suppose anyone could give me a hint on where I can find this stuff..?

If I remember right, the creature creator bundle doesn't come with textures. That's why I picked up Mr. Hyde and some of RawArt's creatures. Mr. Hyde has white, gray, green, red and tannish, so that's pretty nice.

You mean the colored textures in the previews for this one? http://www.daz3d.com/shop/beasts-and-brutes My guess is that those are done simply by changing the diffuse color on the Surfaces tab. But if you're looking for colored textures, I'll second sikeus' recommendations. In particular, you may be interested in this product by RawArt: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/raw-warriors-lords-of-battle

At least some of the Creature Creator previews seem to use textures from this product: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/creatures-goblin-horde-genesis

Great suggestion, Scott-Livingston. That looks like a great product.

And I just learned something new. I'd tried to change the diffuse color of skins in the past without it working. But this time, with more experience under my belt, I went to the surfaces tab and selected the appropriate genesis surfaces, as well as having it selected in the scene tab. And it worked! Very exciting. Plus, I left the diffuse color alone and changed both ambient and specular colors and got some fun results there, as well.
