Rigging and bones terminology.....I'm confused
Hello everyone, so now I have a dress I've rigged with transfer utility, but want to add additional bones.......I see references to ghost bones and child bones......are these just different names for the same bones?
Then I see something called split bone in the menu.....no idea what that means or what is it's purpose, I clicked on it to see if I could figure out what is for and Studio crashed. I'm hoping that split bone might mean I can for instance split a thigh bone so that half can move back of skirt, half can move front?
I'm probably completely wrong in my optimism but I'm trying really hard to rig a long dress so that it moves more naturally with the figure....tis the Holy Grail of clothes modeling I'm thinking. LOL
I'm also trying to figure out if I can drape my garment using clothify for instance in Blender on different poses ie: Fashion 02 and then somehow get that posed shape back as a morph or preset or? into Daz?
Any advice, links to tutorials etc. would be much appreciated!
