Octane For Carrara

Seeing as we're not getting Reality for Carrara....

Does anyone know if there are any plans for an Octane plug-in?

    Tugpsx said a few months ago he was planning on developing a Carrara plugin for Octane after he releases his plugin for DAZ Studio.

    not gonna happen.

    also a plugin for studio is still not sure.
    nothing official on octane site.

    only octance for poser is real.

    That is untrue. They have been developing the DS plugin for months. In the members forum they show off updates every so often. They think it will be completed by end of year. Why would you say its not real? THe plugin is even listed on the homepage. You can't buy it yet, but thats a different story.

    The poser version is in beta as well, they just let you pay to get into that beta.

    There are two plugins being developed for Studio. Cath (Mec4D) has been involved in the beta of one or both. She posted some stuff not too long ago and so did Tugpsx. The Poser plugin is further along thanks to the skills of faceoff.
