    @Selina - very cool animations.  That could be ancient aliens Venus Figurine in a Box - those 35,000 year old carvings from mammoth tusks.  yes

    @Stezza - looks like another lion is too late for the meal.  They like their breakfast eggs poached.

    @Bytescapes - getting the scifi vibe.  Wonderful color choices and great flight effects.

    @bytescapes - great wormhole portals and I simply had to try a quick one myself - not great modelling here as I was interested in the glowing center ony!

    Looks like you nailed it. Mine was a bulb light with visible light sphere and glow turned on. I think you probably did something similar.

    Your ship actually emerging from the 'portal' looks good; I tried for a similar effect, but couldn't get something that I was happy with, so I moved it fully outside.

    I used a vertex circle, which I shaded to get the glow and alpha transparency as I wanted it. The ship coming through also has had it's shader tweeked to glow at the intersection.

    I couldn't seem to get the FlowForce to work with my Softbody flag at all, it just disappeared on frame one even if I turned the force to zero? So, I had to make do with a directional force for now ... I will have another look later.

    No FlowForce will not play nice with SoftBody Physics on my machine - FRUSTRATING! This is an attempt at setting softbody physics to loop..

    Selina, I'm not sure what to call your experiments here - geometric abstract animations?  Whatever you call them, they are very interesting and beautiful, often like looking into a kaleidoscope.

    Thanks for playing in this unusual direction.  I haven't done any boning, and only a tiny bit of animation, so this is pretty much Greek to me.  But fun to watch. :)
