Studio light test render [ /!\ nude inside ]
Hi all,
I'm using DAZ Studio as a "studio simulator" , for now. I'm making my own studio at home , and I've found that Daz could help understanding light problems , etc.
Well, I'm using iray rendering engine , as much of us. And I have some problems with grainy renders.
There are some tests :
Manipulating photoshop for years, I manage to "cheat" the picture by adding some filters on it, and using a simple scene , just Gen3 , and a really simple envirronment. But When I'm trying to do more, for exemple with daylight in a white room , I obtain a grainy render. I saw some tips on different forums, but I'm not conviced for now.
For exemple, this renders took me 20 hours.
My computer is equiped with a SLI of gforce 590 Ti , 32go Ram, SSD, I7 2600.
I'm wondering if Iray is the best solution for me. I'm using Keyshot for design object. It's a CPU render , of course, but I imagined that iRay could be more impressive , using my GPUs...
Could someone help me uderstanding why do I have this kind of noise?
I give my parameters :
All I'm asking is to well understand this engine. Anyway there is Octane render that could hep ... But I'm not ready to buy it for the moment, Keyshot does the good job for my professional work.
Thanx for reading.

Is that ok for nudity ? Or do I have to put only the links ?

1 problem...SLI.
Iray does not need it and can misbehave when using it.
Are you serious ? Many of users I see on forums don't have problems with SLI...But anyway , I've never test a scene without sli...
Ok, I copy that. Even if I don't think it's not the only problem for grainy renders like the one I showed... Thanx a lot , of course.
No, I haven't seen anyone saying specifically they are using SLI. Iray will use both cards, without them being in SLI. One of the problems SLI can cause is slowness...
Also, what is the memory of those cards?
If it's what I'm thinking...then it's likely it won't be doing much good, because it's not enough to hold much of a scene.
Yep , you're certainly right , my cards are becoming a bit old...
Arf ...F***... I'm condamned to do studio shoot to limit the scene...
