Coming Soon - Rigging Problems Solved In-Depth for DAZ Studio Content Creation
Last year we presented an eight part in-depth tutorial series on creating content for DAZ Studio. The series was presented by the talented DAZ Studio published artist Esha:-
We covered the workflow from start to finish of creating holiday styled clothing for a character as well as standalone luggage props.
We'll be providing a new tutorial in the store- a follow-on session from our series that has a particular focus on more difficult issues found in rigging. As you may be aware this is often the part of the workflow that can cause some of the greater headaches! We'll be running the tutorial as a live webinar session first and the edited recording will be in HD quality posted within a few weeks afterwards in the DAZ 3D store.
If you'd like the benefits from the live webinar session on Saturday 21st of January, we're taking registrations now. Those who register for the live session will get the recordings as part of the registration, otherwise you can collect the recording in the store most likely at the beginning of February.
Attending the live webinar you'll have the advantages of:-
- Seeing Esha's desktop shared live as she goes through rigging solutions step by step.
- Learn faster than in a forum.
- Drill down in more depth with any extra questions and learn dynamically. Get complete understanding of a topic as it's shown to you.
- Meet other content creators and artists in a live setting.
Click Here to learn more and register for the live webinar. There's currently an early registration discount running right now.
If you have a question in particular on rigging, then mention it here in this discussion or contact us and we'll see if we can include the answers for that in the webinar session - this allows us to build extra rigging education for you AND other artists. We'll have up to 2 hours live broadcast, so we may need to be selective on what topics can be covered during that time.
At the moment we've have had requests to focus on these topics. We do have some time to cover other topics! Let us know!
- Dealing with weight maps
- How to rig a long sleeved top
- Rigging clothing in the areas of the groin and underarm
Comments
This is like in Hollywood - if something went well, make a sequel
But seriously, it's not just going to be more of what we've already done, although of course it's about the same topic. I've had a few questions from people who have attendet the webinar series or got the recordings and I guess the answers will be interesting for others, too, not only the person asking the question. So we'll treat the critical areas more in depth.
I'll demonstrate how I treat problem areas like armpits and what you can do before you even start rigging to avoid some of the problems altogether.
I'm looking forward to "seeing" you at the webinar!
