V5 "blood" skin JPEGs not used

I noticed that there are some unused skin files (circled in red below) that have red on them. I assume these are for subsurface in areas where blood can be seen through the skin when light passes through. However, they are not used in the materials room in Poser.

There are black and white subsurface scatter JPGs in the same directory (circled in green below) that are being used.

Does anybody know how to also use the ones with red blood to enhance the skin even further?

I am using Poser Pro 2012.

    The colour ones "with blood" are the subsurface scatter maps, the black and white ones are for specular. You should be getting the SSS settings added properly when you click on the Bree MAT — I see them in the D|S files.

    Unless the Poser MATs are glitched somehow... anyone who's using Poser (I don't) know for sure?
