This thread is to announce our move, and I will use it to announce updates to KCTC freebies, so if you want to be informed, you can subscribe to it and get a quick link to updates

Hi! We've just moved Francemi.net to a new server, and it's a good opportunity to post our site info in the new Freepository!


You may notice the sites look surprisingly like the old ones :o). All of the urls are the same as before, so no need to change your bookmarks (except that we've added a mirror site of 3D Sara Creations).

    Does anyone have an actual link where I can download Sara?
    I went searching the archives last night and after 30 pages out of 443 I gave up
    If I can't get a link I will have to keep searching.

    Eiblhin, there's a link right on the top of the page for 3dSara Creations that links directly to the Download page (click on the words Latest News Forum, along with instructions on how to download the link (changing "forum.daz3d.com" to "forumarchive.daz3d.com" )

    Someone pointed out (THANKS!) in another thread that there's nothing indicating what bed is used in Kiki Nighty by Toyyaris (pg 11 of KGang)

    I've corrected Toyyaris’s readme and added the link to the website links as well.

    Alisa, I'm reading but I'm also trying to get my models under control so I'm not really doing much else. It is a very bad thing when I only have some 15,000 models and I can't find what I *know* I have. Somewhere. Sooo ... I've been putting the still-compressed original files in what I laughingly refer to as runtime order in hopes of trying to find things again. Once that's accomplished, I'll be doing my bestest to keep things organized ... and will be back downloading like a madfiend (Yes, that's one word. :-) ) And being grateful for your efforts and those of so many others.

    I'm still impressed how much dedication went towards Sara. I really need to start using her more. :)

    I wish that there was more freebies for Poser's toon characters included in the basic Runtime, i.e. Koshini2, Ichiro2 and Laroo2. I hate to say it, but I'm really so broke that all my 3D works are hobbies, and that I can't throw even 10 dollars at it, let alone as much money as I want, much as I'd like to. :) )

    Even though she's an early generation (Gen1? Gen2?), she's still a delightful character to play with. She didn't get a lot of native support here but 3DSara certainly picked up the slack. Sara 2 kinda went by the boards as well. Hmmm ... maybe not a good name for DAZ characters? :question:

    'Twould be nice. I don't have the -2 versions (I only have P7 right now since no one gave me PP2010 or -2012 for Christmas >:() but Koshini fits with a few ideas I have including ones where I hope to blend a live person (me), a realistic model (my daughter) and a toon into one render. Or maybe more than one of the latter two. Anyway, the toons don't seem to get the support the realistic models do in general which I think is kind of sad. I mean, toons have rights & feelings too, y'know?
    I hate to say it, but I'm really so broke that all my 3D works are hobbies, and that I can't throw even 10 dollars at it, let alone as much money as I want, much as I'd like to. :) )
    For me, 3D art (and maybe animation?) is goal oriented, creating a world where my daughter and I can be together since we can't be in the real world for a while. At the same time, my income puts me in pretty much the same situation as you are so one or the other of us is in good company. ;-) OTOH, when there's something I need for that world, it overrides even food if necessary. (Yes, it's that important to both of us.) In the meantime, Mele Kalikimaka to all! :)
