The PosperPros site has long been gone. Whether or not those tutorials were ever transferred to ArtZone is a question I can't answer for you, and even if the answer were yes, ArtZone is no longer in existence either. One can only hope all those good tutorials will eventually show up again in the DAZ Wiki.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

NP, thanks for the reply...I was hoping a Daz folk monitored the new user forum, and would know if they stored 'em away? (or even who made it, in hopes that they still have a copy)

The tutorial is in PDF format, and was created by BluesDragon, and was first posted in 2006. I have it, and it is a bit less than 3MB, if you can track down BD and ask his permission, he may have a copy still himself.

In fact, it looks like almost all of what's presently called the "Documentation Center" is simply gone. Every other link leads to either a 404, a 'tutorial' made up of a series of nonexistent JPGs, or some external HowTo that doesn't have much to do with the latest version(s) of either Studio or Carrara.

    http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=1881&_m=d
    http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=1861&_m=d
    http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=2016&_m=d
    http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=2304&_m=d
    etc.

Having used Studio extensively in the past, and only just now returning to it after a couple years away, I find this extremely (EXTREMELY) frustrating. Everything's changed, but I can't find much documentation that explains all the new features, methods, techniques, etc. Sorry, but the trial-and-error guessing method isn't cutting it.

Sure would be nice if someone in-the-know at DAZ3D would post an Announcement explaining/warning about the state of the documentation, and where to go instead to get more than just rudimentary knowledge, other than forum searches.

One quick question: can anyone confirm that Carrara 8 Pro is NOT capable of loading any of the Genesis content? TIA!!

Carrara 8.5 Beta (which is available if you have 8 Pro) can use Genesis. See sticky in Carrara forum.

Thanks outlaw. I had installed 8.5, but recall that some things weren't (yet?) working, either way, I removed it and went back to 8. Cheers!

Jen has many of them on her site, not sure if the ones your after are amongst them though.

All of the Hexagon tutorials I created are 'freebies' and can be shared as long as they remain "free".

Unfortunately, I am not sure what old PC hard drive my copies are on so I don't really have access to them. If anyone has copies and wants to post them somewhere for download again, that is fine. Just let me know where they get posted please.

    Cheers,
    BD

    Thanks!

Hey JimmyC_2009, any chance of posting that? If not, could you email it to 3doutlaw at gmail? I can post any of these on skydrive, Google Drive or Dropbox....there are so many free options these days.

Hello 3doutlaw and BD. I have posted that PDF called Belt_Buckle_Harness_Basics.PDF to 3doutlaw's email address.

Hope that works out, and thanks BD for allowing it.

Thanks, here is a link to the tutorial: https://www.box.com/s/vk7vqgsdk55wuk5t0cfr
Keep in mind the stipulations: All of the Hexagon tutorials I created are ‘freebies’ and can be shared as long as they remain “free”. Let BluesDragon know if you post them, and where.
