Camrea stuff for 3d Photos/videos aka 2 images per "shot"

I've been asked if I could make a MPO image that someone could load up on their 3DS and his PC. I do have 3ds to also see the result.

For those who don't know what a MPO image is. It's the more "common" format for storing both JPEG frame of an 3d Image.

I'm aware of the basics. Two cameras close together, on the same Horizontal plane, pointing the same way.

Well is there any tips, or suggestions for me?
