Dynamic Clothing help

I have dynamic clothes but i dont know how to put the clothes on the figure. for normal clothing, you just put fit to or select the figure and double click on the clothe. But for dynamic clothing, there is no 'fit to" option.

You don't say what program, if Poser, you need the cloth room. Looks complicated, not that bad and the results beat any conforming cloth.

Considering s/he used the words 'Fit to' rather than 'Conform to' we can assume s/he's using Daz Studio.

Dynamic clothing works a little differently to regular outfits. Instead of staying with the character, it acts more as a static item. Some do parent themselves to Genesis when they load, but often I find they end up in the wrong spot, and need to be manually positioned anyway.

Once the character is arranged you'll need to 'drape' the cloth over the character. Ideally you should leave some spare frames in your animation so that you can start off in a zero pose and them move your character into their final pose (or the actual start of an animation). This makes for a more realistic and less problematic transition.

Right-click any sidebar to add the 'Dynamic Clothing' pane which has the options for animating your cloth.

Here are two DAZ3D youtube videos on how to use DS Dynamic Clothing and the Dynamic Clothing Control plugin.

The first one is an overview of using Dynamic Clothing in DS.

The other is how to apply Dynamic Clothing using animated drape.
