Pose saving...

So...I've been thinking about the Expression Randomizer (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14826/)and using it to build a bunch of expression poses.

Now, reading about the hand poses and how they are saved is one of the reasons they sometimes mess up (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/15017/)...and that the "Modified..." save option seems to leave out the zero values...just how does one go about saving a pose that actually 'works', is 'clean' and can be redistributed?

I've never really bothered saving out poses. If I'm really happy with one I've made (and I'm not that good at it...so that isn't often), it's usually ending up on someone in a scene that I'm actually saving. More often than not, though, I tend to just scrap it..a oneshot, so to speak. Premade poses are what I usually use.

Just include a Zero pose as must PA's do so the face can be reset between loading a new one.

The issues with the hands and other poses is limited to the Tranlation and Rotation dials. The DS programmers have now included the option to select all Trans and Rot values which will included the zero values.

When saving facial morphs in DS45 for Genesis, in the options menu choose the "Uncheck All" option and then expand the figure tree to the head and under the Head, find "Pose Controls" and check that box off. Regardless of wheather or not an expression dial was used, it will record all values. You can expand the Pose Control section and choose to have certain ones recorded or not if you want.
