HAIR/CAP PROBLEM

When I place a baseball cap on a character's head, it doesn't cover the hair.

If I remove the hair, a bald head can be detected through the adjustment strap in back of the cap.

If I trim down the hair, the character still looks bald through the adjustment strap.

Any way to get a (delivery driver) cap to just sit on top of hair?

(I considered shading the area above the strap, but couldn't figure out how to shade that one area only.)

I have two suggestions, others will most likly have more.

1; You can use D-Formers on the hair and push it downward under the cap. It would take a few to get the job done but doable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SEBV2GHJHA

2: Is to use (I will presume you are using Daz Studio 4.5) the Polygon Group Editor Tool to make new Material zones for the hair that pokes through the hat, then set opacity to 0 http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14082/#204267

You can also do two renders, one with the hair and one without, plonk one on top of the other and erase the top to tidy up the join. Cane be mixed with using a DForm to tidy up the rim, leaving the erasing to deal with poke-through further up.
