Photoshop

I have now downloaded this software to two computers. I want to use it with Photoshop. but the DAZ link for Photoshop keeps telling me that it can't find the paath to my photoshop,I have even put the path in myself with no luck. Can anyone tell me how to get it to link to Photoshop or how to save files in PSD jpeg etc. and open in PS CC Cheers

Did you install the photoshop bridge for daz?

If not you can manually open your renders by going to your render folder where you point daz to save your renders. If you have not already done so you might need to go into daz under render settings and select to save the render to a new window, then you should be able to choose the file format you want. Then once youve done a render you go to that folder, right click the saved render, open with > photoshop. Or drag the image onto the photoshop desktop icon assuming you have one. Or open photoshop and browse to the file that way. Unless I am misunderstanding the question...

File>SAve Last render, or entering a file name and valid Render Library or folder under the render window and clicking Save, will give an image you can open in PS. To install the bridge you need to click the gear icon at top-right in Install Manager and then in the Applications tab click the + button and set the details for your PS version.

Here is an illustration of what Richard Haseltine described. To use the Photoshop bridge, you need to tell the Daz Install Manager (DIM) where your version of Photoshop is installed. Follow the steps in the attached image and then try installing Photoshop Bridge with the Installl Manager again.

  • I have photoshop £D bridge for DAZ studio 4.9+ (win 64 bit) in DIM to download..Im my applications I have this to download to c:/programfiles/adobe/adobephotoshop CC 2017. But when I click to install I get a message saying it can't find a file to download it to.

Can anyone help me with this. I am new to DAZ so still finding my way around.

    Thanks in advance.

I have tried support but have not had any joy.

  • Gettinbg a bit peed off now, I have downloaded  dson for poser but get the message that it wont download into poser pro 11 and I should be loading it into poser pro 2014 proo 2012 Can anyone help. I am also having problems loading photoshop 3D bridge for DAz as it does not load into my Photoshop CC 2017. I can't get to contact DAZ help as it askes for operating system and the form is not showing a box to fill in and as such cant contact them. Can anyone help Thanks.

You may be better moving this query into the Poser forum

You can do this yourself my clicking on the gear icon on your first post, click to edit  and then change the category over on the right hand side.

In the Applications tab of the DIM preferences (the gear icon at top-right) make sure you have the correct details for your software - and if necessary, lie about which version you have.

Can you post a screenshot of the Settings > Applications tab?

Merged threads to keep the dicsussion of your installation issues in one place.

  • I configured the new path for the Photoshop CC 2017 folder, but I still get an error when trying to install it. Is the path different then the one I use for the 2017 version?
