Is it worth buying? It says partner with DAZ 3D and SM etc. on their site.

They claim to be partner with DAZ 3D etc. as per following link:
https://shade3d.jp/en/company/partners.html
Any advise will be very helpful?

Shade used to be sold at Content paradise but seems to be gone. There used to be freebies there.
Was it also sold at DAZ store?
It was at Daz for a while but I think not any more. You can get a free trial on their website to try it out and see if it's for you. Expensive bit of kit.
Looks like all these new companies use DAZ during launch e.g., ZBrush, iClone and Shade etc. and then leave it after getting enough fame or customers etc.
I think it may be percentage of sale price reasons actually.
In my experience Carrara is still better than Shade.
Shade is not exactly a new program, it was created in the 80s...
Carrara is good. Just needs a knife tool.
Head wax, Carrara has it's own «knife tool»
I don't think it's exactly a knife tool. A knife would create 2 edges, one for each half facet, so that, if you move or rotate the facets, you can see the split.
