Shoulder and other character parts morphing when posing

I'm not sure why I did not notice this sooner but it seems when I am posing a Genesis character with the pose tool or using Puppeteer the shoulders have this type of morphing affect.  It of course goes away when I stop trying to pose them but it is actually making it really difficult to record on the timeline since I cannot tell exactly how things are going to look until I render.  Is there some kind of setting I can do to keep the character from morphing or smoothing while I am positioning them?  Thanks

Open the Draw Settings pane. In the General tab, set Manipulation Binding to Full instead of Optimized and the Subdivision Updates to Continuous instead of Delayed. I think one or both of those will fix your problem.

  • Wow such an easy fix.  Im not sure which one did or both but I just set them like you said and its working.  I never even knew about Draw Settings.  Thanks so much.

Great! I have them both set, too. I honestly don't even know what "Manipulation Binding" is. I was advised a long time ago to set these this way, and it worked for me, so I'm just passing that tip on to you. smileyMaybe someone will happen by this thread and explain to us what all these controls and options are for.
