Re-installing Daz Studio

What is the best way to re-install Daz Studio?   Something is causing Studio to have a fatal error that the tech people seem unable to solve.  I have downloaded the three parts to the program and wonder if I should remove the old program first or simply re-install over the old program?   I am assuming that i will have to re-point Studio to the Daz and poser assets.

If your able to I'd uninstall and then reinstall Daz Studio through DIM

Thanks... I uninstalled and then re-installed the program via the DIM but sadly the error message still exists.   I guess I'll have to wait until the Daz Tech people give me some answers.
