Can't get Carrara 64 bit to install

I Can't get Carrara 64 bit to install .

I have purchased Carrara Pro 8 and have installed the 32 bit of it correctly. It works fine and I have put in my serial number.
But when I click on the installer for Carrara 8, 64 bit , it hangs indefinitely.

I am a professional graphics designer. Thus the 64 bit version would be FAR preferable to be using. I am using a 64 bit computer with 8 GB of RAM. My video card or graphics card could be out of date. Not sure what version I have. I am on Windows 7.

Any thoughts?

    Welcome :)

    How far does it get,... Do any dialogue boxes appear ?

    Also check the file size, it should be around 98Mb,...and perhaps try re-downloading the file from your account.
    You'll also need to download and install the "Carrara Native Content" installer, which contains the sample shaders, scenes, etc.

    I'll try those things. The run box appears and then no more steps happen.
