I was wondering if anybody has bought and used the 3D Animation master that is on sale at 50% off. It looks like a great price but I was wondering if it is worth it? Any replies would be helpful. Thanx!!!

If you're talking about Hash's Animation Master, it's a strong tool that's been around for a long time and can do a lot of cool things, but it's not really designed to be part of a pipeline with other apps - it's an all-in-one solution. When I tried it an age ago, it couldn't do OBJ export or really export to any format that Poser/Bryce etc could use. Also it has a proprietary modeling type that isn't spline or poly based, which might not export in an ideal way even if it can do OBJ now (I can't find anything on the Hash site to tell me if it can or can't, sorry). It is a full-featured tool if you aren't pipelining, though, and I believe it has a pretty good user community to help with things.

Thanx for the reply Canary3D. Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. I was referring to the Animation Master videos by Val Cameron a.k.a. Waldemar B from Dream light. This product says it teaches the ins and outs of Animation using DAZ3D, taking you from step one all the way through to the finished animation/movie. I have seen the basic video on animation but I would like to learn more. It looks like a good product( especially being sold at half price in the DAZ store right now). I don't want to waste my time and money on a product that doesn't help me learn, so I was hoping to find someone who new more about it. Thanx again and have a great day!!!!! ;-)
