Another Gear Tutorial

Here's another tutorial on creating gears in the vertex modeller. The subject was inspired by Cripeman's tutorial but the method is different. This one focuses on the replicate and bend and twist modifiers to produce meshable gears of different sizes. Feedback is welcome. Enjoy
Thanks,
Pete.

Oh man, I really like this tutorial. May I link to it in my Carrara Manual thread?
Really a great explanation of everything. If things go by too fast, we have the ability to pause, back up, etc.,
Very nice - Thanks!
:wow: had no idea those replicate tools existed in the vertix modeller!
@Dartanbeck, Yes! please feel free to link to this video!
Thanks Pete, awesome tutorial.
Posted on CarraraCafe, as a news post and even in a brand new tutorial category called "Mixed tutorials".
Took me way to long to figure out the site layout, but it should work now.

For now I added a feature sidebar linking to this in the Carrara Introduction page. Scroll down to "* 3d Modeling" section. As I add actual write-ups regarding vertex modeling, I'll add further links in those sections as well. Eventually, I want this thread to be a really good and comprehensive manual for Carrara owners, or potential buyers to see the great many features and uses for Carrara. The more people get interested and buy Carrara, the better off we all are. Besides, I learn a lot compiling all of this. Just watching your tutorial and all of Cripeman's - geeze, he has a lot - and their fun - has taught me new features, tricks and ideas. Great fun!
Thanks a bazillion for taking the time to share! :coolhmm:
