Downgrade problem

Hi friends yesterday i downgraded to daz studio 4.0.3.9 pro from daz studio 4.5, the software gets installed without any problem. When i launch it, a popup appears saying new content detected and stuff as i used the same runtime which i use for my fav daz studio 3. When i click ok the studio crashes.
When i restart it, it takes alot of time to start up and crashes while doing even simple chores such as navigating to content directory or just simple rendering.
I have tried to re-install it like 10 times still the same thing happens.
And when i installed daz studio 4 it uninstalled daz studio 4.5, is there a way to keep them both. Daz

studio 3 works perfectly which is still installed on my system.

    No, you can't have both on the same machine.

    I don;t know what the log you posted is, I can't read it anyway as it is too small.

    The content for DS4.5 will NOT work in general in DS4. There were major changes to most things, including the SDK.
    When you reinstalled DS4, did you reinstall Genesis Starter Essentials for taht version as well, if not, then that will be a major part of your problem. Genesis in DS4 used the DSF file format, DS4.5 use the DUF file format, and DS4 cannot open these files.

    DS4.5 saves Scene files in DUF format as well, so DS4 cannot open them.

    Just after a crash, restart DS4, and go to Help > troubleshooting > View Log File, and that may give you an indication of what has gone wrong. Please do not publish the entire log, just the last twenty lines or so, as that is what will be relevant.

    Look into the Genesis Starter Essentials business first.

    Did you downgrade the Content Management Service too? I suspect not, and that that is generating conflicts.
