Physics and fixing nodes

Is it possible to fix one single node to a point in the 3d space where the rest of the model movements are restricted to that fixed limitation?

Example:  I fix the model's hand to grabbing onto a raill and then drag the feet away, will the whole model move with respect to the hand holding onto the rail?

Assuming this is in Daz Studio, you have two tools that will help - using the universal tool you can select a bone adn pin it using the pin icon onm the viewport widget or the pin icon on the pose-controller at top-left of the viewport. it will then be somewhat resistant to moving when the figure is posed using dragging in the viewport or using the parameters panes or the viewport widget to set values; using the ActivePose tool you can pin (seelct and press Space bar, or use the Tool Settings pane) and that will be more strongly pinned in place but only in response to dragging body parts in the viewport with the ActivePose tool. You can also look at some of Casual's free scripts (in the Freebies forum) for various tools that may help.
