DAZ Horse 2 in Poser Pro 2012 - Bones Misaligned
I purchased the DAZ Horse 2 for use in Poser Pro 2012, and in the process of trying to create IK Chains for the arms and legs discovered that some of the bones are misaligned.
The First Picture is of the DAZ Horse 2 In Poser Pro, and the corresponding Bone Structure, as it loads by default. There are 2 big issues I have with it.
The first problem is the elbow bones.
The elbow bones are nowhere near the actual elbow.
This causes huge stretching and distortion when an IK Chain is created for the figure.
The second issue is in the front feet, with the bone connection between the cannon and the pastern.
Here, the bones are not connected end to end correctly, causing stretching and overlap issues when an IK Chain is created.
Now, I am aware that this figure works perfectly fine in DAZ Studio. However, as it is advertised as being Poser Compatible via DSON, is it too much to ask that the bone structure be compatible with both programs? I know the bone structure works in DAZ Studio, but it seems sloppy to have the bones positioned where they are. Sure they work for DAZ Studio, but they're not "right", and this causes havoc in Poser.
Is this something that can/will be addressed? Can this be fixed in a SR? Or is this the way that DAZ Genesis models are going to be from now on?
Thanks,
