"DAZ 3D Install Manager 1" not supported in Windows 8

Good Afternoon,

I was wondering if there were plans to support windows 8 with "DAZ 3D Install Manager 1"? Right now, it installs, but when you go to run it ... the process shows in the task manager, but nothing is visible ...

It would be great if Windows 8 will be supported in the next version.

You may need to set the new default directory by Content Directory manager of ds, I think.
have you set the path already? without setting path, cms can not find the directory.

How do you set the path? do I need to edit the registry?

Try setting the compatibility mode to Win7

That did it, Thanks! It would be awesome if that tid bit was part of the installation :) It must suck for users where the installer didn't fully install :(

I have it on my win 8 lap top with no problem and no fiddling. Not sure why it isn't working for you but I don't think it is a windows 8 issue.
