Ok doing the Fiery Genesis tutorial, and I went to render, with the settings the tutorial said.It came out fine.

But when I went to save it, it had no background.

I don't think I missed an option, but I closed the program before looking at the saved file. Did I miss something?

ALSO, it saved, by default in a folder called "Render Gallery" along with a small icon of the picture. From the name and icon, this seems like it's meant for some function, but so far, I'm not seeing a "Render Gallery menu" or similar...am i just blind?

Edit: is there a way to post images in here? is it forum level limited?

about backdrop,, if you use image ,it must keep background,, so it seems strange for me,,
may you pick up your setting or camera view before render ?

you can simply add picture I think when make topic or reply,

    from "Attachments" Max Size: 9999KB
then select image from script button.

if you need to up load some image at once,
click preview post, then add new image

then you can open (render riblrary pane) from Top menu
    windows>Panes(tabs)
you can open many tab from top menu.

or right click the border area (not border, near border ) of contena,
    >addpane

so if you think there is not tab, you can add it. (and you can move tab or separate as window etc)

    and,, about Render library.
I change default setting, so that, you better to check daz you tube tutorial.
    it seems good for you
    you tube Render library

Ah, I remember having the exact same problem with Fiery Genesis when I was just starting, a year ago. If you save as .jpg instead of .png you'll see the backdrop. If you save as .png, the background will be transparent, which can be useful in some situations.

That folder is the default for the 'Render Library' tab. (You may have to add the tab)

The small icons show up there as thumbnails and a double click puts the actual image into photoshop for me.

As usual the tiny pull down menu lets you change folder or add more.
