    If you are running out of time, if you have Tango Alpha's Tangy Apple Orchard has a nice Apple Crate that the textures and scale could be quickly modified to suit.

    I have a rules question, so I can give accurate information in the entry thread.

    Are captions considered postwork?  On a couple of renders, I'm using Comic Life for captions, but the Carrara images are not altered, other than sizing.

    I'm not arguing a position.  I just want to know how to label my renders.

    Not very well developed but I thought I would enter something with the new Genesis 8 figure.  Been experimenting a little bit.  Here, I exported the G8 LY Camille character from Studio as a collada file.  I redid the shaders in Carrara.  I modeled a simple vertex dress and used VWD to drape it on G8 and then changed the pose in the animation line.  There is also a changed version of Naomi's 5 times a lady hair - one of our geat Carrara PAs.  Of course, I included the killer tomato from GK Dantas.  The final image uses the hair fom a volumetric pass of the PR renderer, a mixture of shaders from Toon III, NPR, and PR renders,  The final result was also adjusted in filter forge.

    Thanks bunnyip,  I figured TangoAlpha would have one there but wanted to model my own. Should have used since things just happen at the most opportune times.  Most important at moment is to get what I have posted... might be better as I wanted to keep the noise/clutter down in the image.

    Running out of time, so I posted my flying tomato even though it isnt finished.   Here is my current entry.  I have attached some of the render passes used as part of postwork.  Ideally, this would just be the background for a second render of the hero and heroine.  Oh well.

    Obviously, I substituted the later WIP for the earlier as the entry because that has been allowed in the past.  Just let me know if that isn't OK, and I will put the version with no figures back in the entry thread.

    I'm a bit confused... does the voting begin tomorrow, Friday for us in the US, the 23rd at 12:00am?  In other words is today the the last day WIP thread is open?

    The times are Supweme Ruler time, which is ahead of we North Americans.  I got my flying tomatoes in just before the expiration of Thursday, June 22nd according to the link.  Here is a screenshot at the time of my current post. It is now late Thursday night / early Friday morning there.  Not sure what time today the entry thread closes, but I wanted to get a version of the flying tomatoes in.  I doubt the entry thread will close before the Supweme Ruler wakes up and starts his Aussie day.

    Vyusur - very impressive - I thought it was an Octane render as I know you have it, so even more impressed that was rendered natively!

    Diomede,  Thanks... that's how I read... but was hoping.  I looked to where International dateline is to confirm it.

    Vyusur,  Wow!  You will have to share your secrets to rendering in Carrara native PR... I thought it and your last were Octane.  Wow... blown away.

    yep.... it's now Friday 23rd 11.25am Supweme Wuler time

    so if you haven't done it yet now is the time....

    Extended to midday my time which is 30 minutes away ....  coffee time smiley

    lost my sister in May... we were very close...

    Just to let you all know ( if you remember I am giving a $5 gift card to my best WiP ) I have gone through the WiPs with a fine toothe comb...

    killed all the nits and have chosen my recipient.....

    so one of you is now $5 better off yes

    but I'm not sayin just yet who.....

    would be interesting to get your thoughts on which WiPs you think were good in this challenge.

    Stezza, thanks...  I worked on my Veggie Crate all afternoon... just uploaded it a short while ago... thread still said open... if I got it in too late can replace with earlier version or just be disqualified.   Either way doesn't matter... I learned quite a bit.  Please let me know if I need to post a new WIP... pic is same 'cept for the crate w/tomatoes.
