Watch out though, they're not exactly free at the moment. :)))
Yep, the whole site is acting wierd right now. I'm not buying anything free or otherwise until it is fixed.
It looks like it is fixed now. They are all now showing as free for me.
Shows up as "Purchased" for some reason... ;)

Pauline Advanced by ShvrDavid (till June 25 2016) http://contentparadise.com/productDetails.aspx?id=27187
Some sort of reworked version of Poser 11 Pauline.
Dang, that makes me sad that I don't have Poser. :(
Don't feel bad, I don't have Poser11 either. Only upgraded to Poser9 and Debut10 because of a laughably cheap discount.

Awww pooh, I missed that amazing freebie!!!
Chohole found this one: http://cgaxis.com/product/cgaxis-models-volume-5/
It's easy to overlook, but there's an option to choose which format you want and download each as separate zips instead of one *massive* zip like the other freebies they've had.
Which option would you recommend for Daz Studio users? As a newbie to Daz, I'm not sure which to download. I don't really want to download them all if I don't have to (due to having very slow internet and not a lot of hard drive space).
Go with "FBX OBJ". This will give you 4 downloads in your account: FBX, OBJ (part1 & part2) and Maps. DS and Poser users only need the two OBJ downloads. Daz technically supports FBX, but it often does work right. Didn't here either. The textures in the "Maps" download are already included with the OBJs, no need to download them again.
Once you extract the files you need, go to File>Import and select the OBJ file you wish to use. (they luckily included reference renders to tell what you're getting) You can use the default Daz settings here (you can scale the tree later).
Now that it's imported, you get...nothing? Switch to the Scene tab and manually select the new tree you imported, then switch to the Surface tab. Select the tree again and make the following changes:
Diffuse Color: 255, 255, 255 (white)
Ambient Strength: 0
Opacity Strength: 100
Happy Renders and good luck!
Thank you so much, Semicharm! That's a huge help! *hug*

Cool! Thank you! :)
The biweekly freebies have changed / recycled. http://www.daz3d.com/free-3d-models
Yeah I think i have them all already. I wish they would add new ones instead of recycling them. Even some of the older things would be better than seeing freebies you already have.
:sigh: Just the same three texture sets for outfits I don't own or want. It's gotten to the point now where I hardly ever check the freebies page any more.
I've been downloading the ones I don't want just so I won't have to see them anymore.
I "purchase" them but don't download -- just hide them in DIM instead That way I don't see them on the freebie page or in DIM; But I have them in purchase history in the rare case I might want them in the far distant future.
I'd forgotten that was an option. Thanks!
That took care of it.
