I am not sure what You mean, there are six freebies there each week, they are free for taking, I just log from FB and add them to cart (there is sometimes licence difference for big licence it is needed to be paid, but standard commercial is free) and checkout, though I rarely download any of them :/
Same for me. Basic license is free, commercial must be payed.

What's the best format for downloading freebies from kitbash3d etc?
I use Native Render. and has worked for the first two time, last freebiees for me don't work good. The surface don't match with the texture, all item in the pack come out with only 1 surface, bat the texture are divised.
Last freebies come out with more surface, all that match with the textures.

eh, i doubt that was supposed to be there since it has the tell tale signs of being some internal development content that only the DAZ developers have access to. unless DAZ purposively gave it away for free publicly, then it would have a much more professional looking product page with a logical price tag and not something as insane as $999,999.99. since that sounds like a placeholder price tag

Unless the product with said $999,999.99 price tag was released on April 1st. Then it would had made sense.

That is a possibility. Or it could be an error (the bridges right before release had a similar page, btw) and wasn't updated.
When / How is it crashing ? As a test I loaded Spuggles and tried some of the movements; but it didn't crash for me.

Can i suggest a thing for spuggles, recently some user have some issue with check out, probabily the spuggles test is for check this thing.
