help with M4 morphs++

edited December 1969 in New Users

I finally got to purchase M4 morphs++ but I can not figure out how to actually use them. I tried just clicking on the desired morph in my pose library but it doesn't show up anywhere. Are there instructions anywhere or a tutorial perchance? Also - does a power loader for the morphs exist. My search didn't turn up anything.

thanks,
mystmaiden

You need to inject them onto the figure, then they show up in parameters

There's also that they appear in the "Power Loader". With their square checked off, they will be automatically loaded as one loads M4 in D/S. Then, on the Parameter tabs the sliders/dials will appear. What appears depends upon which body part is selected.

The power loader has a separate installer, check your downloads.

The power loader I see in downloads looks to be for Daz Studio only but I'm using Poser 7. Is there another one?

I just tried again and I am definitely doing something wrong here. I loaded M4, went to my pose library, clicked on an eye pose and clicked the check mark. It said 'loading' for just a second but then when I tried to use it, the only poses available were expression poses under the 'base' category.

No, that's the only one. Poser 7 isn't on this computer so I can't check that right now. Seems to me that 'everything for M4/V4' had to be in the same runtime. Hopefully somebody else will drop in to assist.

When you double click on the Morphs++ icon in Pose, the morphs are loaded, but not applied. You have to go the the Parameters window in Poser 7 to see them, and then you can apply whatever morph(s) you require. If you cannot see the Parameters window, go to Window > Parameter Dials (Shift+Ctrl+N)

Morphs++ has dozens of morphs, and they cannot be applied when they are loaded. For example, how can you load the 'Heavy' morph, and the 'Thin' morph at the same time?

When you have M4 selected, you will find Morphs++ in the Parameters window under Morphs|Shapes, just click on the little plus sign to see them. Powerloader is for DAZ Studio only, as has been said already, so it can't be used in Poser.

    Ah, you are using Poser.

You should find that you have 2 options to inject your morphs in Poser. You can either inject specified individual morphs, or inject Morphs++ all at once.

this is Poser 8, but it gives you an idea

    still no joy...
I tried to load all the morphs++ but no matter what I have selected on M4 none of them show up on the parameters window.

Did you double click the inj morphs++ icon

You should then find them. this is the parameters for the Body, you should have a similar one for Head.

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes. I double clicked the inj morphs icon but the morphforms, morphs ++ are not coming up on the parameters. I'm pretty confused at this point. V4 works okay but M4 is giving me fits

It sounds like you didn't initialize the morphs after installing them (or it didn't take)
try initing again from desktop short cut or directly from .bat file DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat in the !DAZ section of libaray folder
