Content folders

I know many of you set up your own folder structure for your files. I have been thinking about doing that to help wade through the hundreds of folders. My only hesitation is updates. If the install manager has an update, it won't know where I moved a file to. Does it just unpack the update to where the old file was? Will the program even know that the existing file has an update available?

    If you install with the Install Manager then it will know about updates. If you move the files within a content directory it won't be able to find them, so you will have to update manually, but the Install Manager does support having multiple different content directories for different types of content and installing any given item to the one you choose, after which updates will automatically go to that location.
